Giclée Studios will be showing two fine-art prints as part of the show, exploring interpretations of 'Light' through art and expression. For this show Giclée Studios presents 'Desert Comet' and 'Joshua Tree 1' - both fine-art prints are printed on our museum grade 305gsm archival paper using giclée pigment inks. They measure 105cm x 140cm and are framed with a light oak frame, spacers and glass to finish.
‘Desert Comet’ captures a contrail over a body of igneous rock, as the sun sets in Joshua Tree, on the edge of the Californian desert. Lit only by the light of the setting sun, the almost alien skyscape is punctuated by the remnants of sunlight, painting the sky in a wash of ombre hyper-colour. As the sun continues to dissipate, the shadows cast will once again claim the sculptural rockface hiding the hallucinatory scenery for another day.
‘Joshua Tree 1’ was captured at sunrise in the Mojave Desert, depicting a solemn gnarled, yet elegant Joshua Tree, framing a landscape that resembles something out of a Dr Suess book. The eerily, otherworldly landscape is jarring but mesmerising at the same time – the trees, symbolic of Joshua Tree, are like lonely pillars. Their elephant skinned trunks and upraised arms reaching towards something that will only materialise once the sun sets again.
Both of these original framed prints are available to buy, to enquire about either one please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
